7/19/2007		New Advantech SUSI v1.2 With Even More APIs for Faster Custom Application Development and Management Advantech's SUSI (Secure and Unified Smart Interface) was introduced last year and was widely adopted and used in many successful customer applications. Now, Advantech is releasing SUSI v1.2, with additional enhanced features on more Advantech hardware products. The more user-friendly API with six additional utilities is also fully compatible with MS Visual Studio 2005. Advantech new SUSI v1.2 is the best embedded software solution for faster custom application development and management.

With Windows® CE 6.0 Ready Platform there's no need to waste time and energy developing on-board device drivers or using embedded OS authoring tools like Platform Builder to build a custom Windows® CE 6.0 image; Advantech's design team have already done that. Furthermore, with Advantech's unique suite of utilities all you have to do is concentrate on developing your own application.

4/2/2007		Protect the OS using Advantech Windows® XPe/FP2007 Ready Platforms Advantech launches a range of powerful Embedded Ready Platforms powered by the new Windows® XPe/FP2007 embedded OS to provide a complete set of tools and components to enable the rapid prototyping, application development and demo platform for your Windows® XPe applications. With Advantech's Windows® XPe/FP2007 Ready Platforms there's no need to waste time and energy developing on-board device drivers or use embedded OS authoring tools like Target Designer to build a custom Windows® XPe/FP2007 image; Advantech's design team have already done that. Furthermore, with Advantech's unique File Based Write Filter (FBWF) protection utility you can now write-protect the OS at the file level, so all you have to do is concentrate on developing your own applications.

1/16/2007		Advantech Introduces XScale / Windows CE 5.0 Evaluation Kits for Design To Order Services (DTOS) Projects Advantech is delighted to announce the launch of two new XScale / Windows CE 5.0 Evaluation Kits, the PCM-7221-0K0CE1E and PCM-7231-0K0CE1E, which make it easy for potential RISC-based DTOS customers to evaluate Advantech XScale/Windows CE solutions before project kick-off. The PCM-7221 and PCM-7231 evaluation kits integrate the Marvel PXA270 CPU with Windows CE 5.0 for a compact, low-power and fanless solution. Advantech XScale/Windows CE 5.0 evaluation kits are a good base for the development of handheld, healthcare and telematics devices. This results in low risk and higher efficiency for RISC-based DTOS (Design To Order Services) projects.

1/2/2007		Advantech Launches Windows CE 6.0 Solution for 3.5" SBC and SOM-ETX Platforms Advantech announces supports for the new Windows® CE 6.0 embedded OS and releases a Board-Support-Package (BSP) for the AMD Geode LX800-based 3.5" SBC PCM-9375 and Intel® Pentium® M-based SOM-ETX SOM-4481 embedded platforms. Advantech Windows CE ready platforms provide System Integrators (SI) with a complete set of components to enable rapid prototyping, application development and Windows CE application demonstrations. "As a Microsoft VAP and Gold Level Partner, we are proud to recommend the new Windows CE 6.0 embedded OS," said Jack Huang, vice president of the Embedded Computing Group at Advantech.
