2009/8/11		Advantech Launches Its New Point-of-Care Terminals- A Slim and Standard Series Delivering Higher Performance Advantech, the leading global ePlatform provider, has launched four new models of its POC series terminals: two standard-sized—POC-176 and POC-196, and two slim-sized—POC-S176 and POC-S196. The Point-of-Care series terminals are medical multimedia panel computers equipped with a high performance Intel® CoreTM2 Duo processor, a fanless design to ensure low noise, and are IP54 certified splash and dust resistant. A built-in card reader helps identify and track medical care providers' time spent with patients. These point-of-care terminals perform faster and are especially suited to image intensive applications such as PACS, X-ray and MRI.

2009/2/24		Advantech Launches 10.4" Fanless Mobile Clinical Assistant in HIMSS AsiaPac Advantech today launches the MICA-101, 10.4" fanless mobile clinical assistant (MCA) that allows clinicians to do their jobs while on the move and better enhance the quality of patient care. The MICA-101, based on the Intel MCA reference architecture, is Advantech’s first product to support this new category of mobile computing solution for healthcare that has earned support from clinicians and nursing staff around the world. 2007/12/19		Advantech launches New POC-195DC Point-of-Care Terminal Advantech is proud to announce an extended version of the popular POC-195 Panel PC computer. The new POC-195DC panel computer offers the same tough design and efficient operation of the original AC version, but now features the advantage of a fanless, ultra-quiet DC power supply. The new design simplifies maintenance and prolongs life, because dust cannot possibly penetrate or accumulate.
