Advantech's Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) solutions leverage KW Software's Multiprog and ProConOS as a single development tool under the SoftLogic control kernel. After setting up the software on a PAC, users can easily leverage the control programming into different platforms to meet versatile automation needs. KW SoftLogic also creates a single tagging database which can be shared by HMI software (such as Advantech WebAccess), under the same tagging database used by OPC server in Windows CE Operating Systems.

Advantech's Industrial Automation Group has announced the launch of WebAccess, a browser-based software package for Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) devices. Advantech WebAccess provides remote control and management allowing users to easily view, control, and configure automation equipment in manufacturing facilities, industrial process plants, electric power stations, and building automation systems. In addition, users can easily engineer and develop systems because all the features found in conventional HMI and SCADA software packages are available in an ordinary web browser.

Advantech’s remote maintenance software provides window-based operating systems for remotely monitoring and controlling Advantech’s Touch Panel Computers, Fanless Box PCs and ADAM devices, providing easy, real-time maintenance.
