Advantech has released the POC-S196, a slim Point-of-Care (POC) terminal with a 19” high-contrast LCD, ideal for storage and retrieval of patient information, helping medical professionals focus on delivering better patient care and monitoring. The POC-S196 is both quiet and powerful, featuring a fanless design and an Intel® Core™ Duo processor with support for Microsoft Vista™. Its robust design is sealed against water and dust, meeting industry certification requirements, and the POC-S196 buttons are seamlessly integrated into the front panel for easy cleaning. A book light, trim knob and touchscreen make the POC-S196 easier than ever to use.
