INTRODUCTION
The IPPC-950 is a flat panel PC with 15" LCD for industrial HMI applications. The IPPC series panel PC is especially designed to fit in space concerned, expansion inconsiderate environments. Its sturdy stainless steel structure enables the system to work under harsh industrial conditions. Strengthened glass protects the LCD from damage, while the socket 7 structure makes the IPPC-950 an economical and reliable system that is suitable for industrial applications. An optional CD-ROM drive and an additional HDD can provide the system with outstanding multi-purpose functions. Sturdy Structure Both the back case and the chassis are made of stainless steel, thus providing the system with an even stronger and tougher structure. Moreover, paint is no longer necessary to protect the chassis body - a more environmental improvement. This anti-corrosion feature allows the system to function properly under the harshest of industrial conditions. Security Enhancement The back door is equipped with a lock in order to protect the system from burglars. Modular Design The modular concept allows easy maintenance and effortless upgrading. Major components can be disassembled in a few simple steps. Moreover, an additional slot allows installation of either an ISA or PCI add-on card. Slim Size With a back case of merely 100 mm in depth, the system will fit almost anywhere. The aluminium front panel meets the NEMA4 (IP56) industrial standard. Furthermore, special mounting brackets facilitate easy installation. Efficient Cooling System After conducting thermal flow experiments, our engineers decided to place two cooling fans in the top cover, thus creating a design which ensures a reliable working environment for the system. Customized Panel Advantech provides different front panels to meet different demands. Choices range from standard anodized aluminium panels to aluminium panels with a wooden or marble coating.
