The IPC-644 is an ultra-compact 4-slot mini node chassis. It is ideal as an embedded application workhorse. It can be equipped with a 4-ISA or 1 ISA / 2 PCI / 1 NLX backplane to hold 4 half-size cards. It is also equipped with both DC and AC power inputs. The IPC-644 is suited for environments found on boats and other vehicles on the go, and equally suited for indoor operation.
For optimal performance, there are two LED indicators (for DC power and HDD activity) on the front panel to facilitate easy diagnostics and maintenance. It is also equipped with two controllers: a Reset button and a power ON/OFF switch.
Disk drives include one 3.5" FDD and one internal HDD drive. Other features include a versatile backplane for PCI and ISA buses, two 9/25-pin I/O reserved ports, built-in 80 W power supply, and two 49/19.4 CFM cooling fans to dissipate heat fast.
