INTRODUCTION
Advantech GeniDAQ software uses Microsoft Windows enabling technologies to provide a new era for industrial panel market. Advantech GeniDAQ software offers lots of Graphic operator objects like pushbuttons, meters, sliders, switches, text and numeric displays, LED-style indicators, real-time trending, and alarms to enrich the functionality of operator panels. Bundled Advantech GeniDAQ with HMI-640S Panel PC, Advantech HMI solution pack provides a low cost and scalable solution to replace expensive, hard-wired control panel Easy-to-Use Industrial HMI Functions Networking Connection: Built-in TCP/IP networking for data sharing with other platforms. Graphic Display: Dynamically display real-time data graphically Device Connection: Various device OPC servers supported. Alarm Log and Display: Easy finding and fast repair for machine break-down Real-time trending up to eight variables and colors Data Storage: Detailed information can be backed up in CompactFlash disk Keypads: Text/Numeric data can also be entered via keypads Password protected runtime security Open communication Advantech GeniDAQ for Windows NT/CE software follows industrial standard to open its connection for many different plant floor devices and networks. - For serial devices: Allen-Bradley, Modicon MODBUS and ADAM remote/distributed I/O modules - For Ethernet-connected databases, networks, and devices Through Ethernet TCP/IP, the real-time information and results on the target can be seen on-line, accessed and stored into business applications and database.
