Introduces New Fanless Panel Computer PPC-L126T Advantech
is pleased to announce the PPC-L126, featuring a low-power, high
performance VIA processor, sample orders are available in July 2002. The
PPC-L126 is a fanless panel computer that makes it an ideal solution
for low noise operating environments and clean room applications. Fanless
and High Performance
 PPC-L126
is a new fanless-design Panel PC with an onboard VIA low power Eden
667MHz processor. This product uses a VIA Twister chip with
Integrated Savage4 2D/3D/Video Accelerator, north bridge and LCD
controller and 4X AGP VGA/LCD interface and up to 32 MB frame buffer
using system memory. The PPC-L126 supports 3D audio and complies
with the AC97 standard and 3D engine 4X AGP VGA/LCD controller, for
better support for multimedia applications.
Optional
Smart Battery Module
 The
PPC-L126 has two power sources; an optional battery pack and AC
power supply.
The
battery charges when the PPC-L126 is connected to the AC power
adapter. The battery can provide the PPC-L126 power when the AC
power is lost suddenly. The optional rechargeable battery pack has
more than 60 minutes battery life and can be used as an UPS function
during unexpected loss of power. This smart battery indicates state
of charge and percentage of remaining power. PPC-L126’s ultra-low
power consumption saves energy cost and maximizes battery life.
Convenient
for System Maintenance
The
front bezel is removable to make LCD and touchscreen maintenance
easier and quicker. The PPC-L126 supports one Type Ⅰ/Ⅱ
CompactFlash storage disk that makes system maintenance more convenient. The
PPC-L126 supports Ethernet boot ROM so users can boot remotely from
Ethernet. (Caution:
Turn off power before inserting or removing CompactFlash card)
