The touch screen PPC-100T as a Human-Machine Interface.

The customer used the soft-touch menu to choose out of the horse races, which could also be used for viewing winnings, final places of finished races, and betting odds for upcoming races. In addition, the PPC-100T featured a card reader, which allowed customers to use their credit card and place bets on upcoming races.

The PPC units were fitted in consoles at drinking tables and connected via Ethernet to the main computer.
