Sony Malaysia has a manufacturing plant for the production of TVs and other video products. The factory has over 4000 employees.

Six PPC-120T units with touch screens were fitted in slim kiosk enclosures so employees can check up on HR policies, apply for annual leave, look up upcoming company events and access any other information on the company's server, which is updated on a regular basis. The touch screen is very user-friendly: employees can simply key in their specific inquiries while a magnetic stripe reader on the kiosk verifies the employee's identity. When the kiosk is not in use, current production data is scrolled on the screen to keep employees updated.
