The Industrial Automation Group of Advantech introduces the EKI-2525SPI, a single-mode fiber-optic industrial PoE switch. This PoE switch not only features 4 x PoE ports, but also includes a fast fiber-optic connection with redundant power inputs.

The EKI-2525SPI is extremely rugged with a wide operating temperature range (-40 ~ 75° C) allowing it to operate reliably even in the most extreme environments. It also offers a 48 VDC redundant power input design and is secured with a double protection mechanism; Power Polarity Reverse and an Overload Current Resettable Fuse. Furthermore, the EKI-2525SPI comes with a compact metal housing and IP30 rating to help protect against the dust and dirt common to industrial environments.

The EKI-2525SPI provides up to 15.4 watts of power per port and can be used to power IEEE802.3af compliant powered devices (PD) through an Ethernet cable eliminating the need for additional wiring.
