Advantech announces the expansion of its high-end industrial servers with its latest 1U rackmount server—HPC-1420. The HPC-1420 is a dense 1U state-of-the-art server that supports 2 x Dual/Quad Core Intel® Xeon® processors, up to four hot-swappable Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) or SATA HDD, Dual Gigabit Ethernet, and up to 48 GB of DDR SDRAM memory, all in a unique cable-less 1U design that provides more efficient cooling air flow. HPC-1420 provides customers with a fully optimized solution that is ideal for general purpose and high performance computing.
