Advantech has released the fanless PPC-L106T panel PC. This incorporates an AMD Geode™ LX 800@0.9W processor for low power consumption. The PPC-L106T has excellent expandabilty. The PPC-L106T has an LCD brightness control that can be adjusted from 0 to 100%. It also has automatic data flow control for the RS-485 port. Another key feature is the optional PCI/ISA expansion kit—something that few other fanless Panel PC's offer. The chassis has the same dimensions as the PPC-105T for an easy upgrade path.

The displays of these Panel PCs have glass or acrylic overlays that provide vandal and abrasion resistance.
