Advantech’s eAutomation website announces two exciting new enhancements: online 3D model views, and downloadable and interactive 3D models. These models are colorful parametric images embedded in each products information page and are available free, enabling users to view Advantech products from any angle quickly and easily. Not only does this allow a detailed look at products, which is useful for viewing connectors, ports and other information, but also helps customers examine detailed product sizes and installation requirements.
Online View Function
Simply click the 3D model online view icon, and an interactive 3D image will open up, allowing a 360° view of the product. Advantech provides a continuous 360° rotation of each model through the “Play” function. Additionally, users can access the rotate, pan, and zoom functions embedded into the online page. Users can view any angle of the model they choose, and through the online 3D imaging function, detailed product information such as dimensions, connectors, and ports can easily be identified. This not only helps verify the capabilities and features of Advantech products, but also greatly shortens evaluation time.
Downloadable 3D Models
All of the 3D models are also available to download and view at your leisure, with all the functionality of the online view. Advantech provides fully interactive 3D models available in 4 different types of formats to download: Solidworks, STEP, IGS, and EPRT.
