Taipei, Taiwan, Aug. 23 2004 – Advantech has once again extended its robust IPPC series 
with the IPPC-9150G, an economical 15” XGA TFT LCD display computer. The Advantech IPPC series has proved its reliability through years of operation in every corner of the world as the robust design and compact size makes IPPC-9150G a good fit for almost any industrial HMI application.
Constructed with a stainless steel chassis and heavy-duty aluminum front panel, the rugged design of the IPPC-9150G stands up to tough industrial environments. The strengthened glass protects the front panel from shock damage and is NEMA4/IP65 compliant for water and dust protection.
The IPPC-9150G’s Socket370 CPU structure supports an Intel® Pentium® III processor up to 1.26 GHz and an Intel® Celeron® processor up to 1.3 GHz. The 15” XGA TFT LCD provides vivid, sharp and large images. Two PCI/ISA expansion slots provide expansion capability for special function add-on boards, and can also be used for Advantech motion cards or I/O cards for digital, analog, or special communications requirements. The back door allows easy maintenance and comes with a lock for better security. IPPC-9150G also supports an optional PCMCIA wireless LAN adapter. With optional mounting accessories, flexible mounting with swing arms, panels, racks or other industrial equipment is possible.
With the features described above, IPPC-9150G serves as a central control unit, integrating factory floors and enterprise applications by leveraging Ethernet-enabled technologies.
